Ever dreamt of playing on the famous grass courts of Wimbledon? Who hasn't!
Wychwood Tennis Club are offering boys and girls aged 11-14 a chance to compete in a singles competition, depending on numbers either be a Fast Four format or championship tie breaks.
This year for the first time we are offering a boys doubles event for boys aged 11-18. If you already have a partner, then enter together, if not, Faith will arrange one for you. This event will run from 11:00-1:00.

About Play Your Way to Wimbledon
The Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone, junior tournament (previously called Road to Wimbledon) gives most players under the age of 18, an opportunity to follow in their hero’s footsteps and compete for the title at Wimbledon.
The LTA is proud to be working with Vodafone and the AELTC to relaunch and expand the largest individual mass participation tennis competition in the UK, Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone.
Players start by competing locally at an event taking place at a local club, park or school with the winners progressing through to the County and/or Regional Finals, and then onto the National Finals at Wimbledon.
FAMILY DOUBLES TOURNAMENT

Open to all junior members
Team up with a family member, this can be a sibling or parent, to enjoy a fun doubles tournament with prizes and BBQ.
12.00-13.30: Mini reds - Adult with child 5-10 years
Played on a red court in the four service boxes plus tramlines.
13.30-15:00: Adults with children over 10
Played on a full court, numbers permitting.

AGM
The AGM will be held at the New Beaconsfield Hall on Friday 31st January 2020 at 7pm followed by a get together at The Wychwood Inn.
AUSTRALIAN OPEN CLUB SANDWICH
Sunday 26th January 10am - 1pm . Extended Club morning. Celebrate National Australia Day. Drop in for tennis, coffee, an Aussie Brunch and a chat about who will win the first Grand Slam this year!
JUNIOR HOLIDAY CAMPS
Two courts will used for Holiday Camps from 9am - 1pm for five days during half term from Monday 28th October - Friday 1st November.
CLUB TOURNAMENT FOR ADULTS AND JUNIORS: Final’s Day will this year be on Sunday 15thSeptember.
All the Finals will be played on that day so please make sure you keep the day available. As usual there will be a FREE barbeque.
The club tournamententry closing date is on Monday 15th April so make sure you let Rachel Henderson have your form by then: [email protected]. It will be run in a Round Robin format.

Mixed Doubles for players who don’t play in the Oxfordshire Babolat League Matches and which runs over the summer with Finals being played on Sunday 15thSeptember.

Open to all children born 1stSeptember 2008 or later playing with a adult family member born 31stAugust 2000 or earlier.
Please do come and play in this really fun, inclusive
tournament. It’s doubles on mini-red courts using red balls
and everyone with small rackets. Certificates and prizes for
all entrants. Refreshments served.
Free to all adult or junior members. Non-members - £5 per pair.

Please do come along to the first adult club night of the year and have a glass of Pimms! This will be followed by the Wimbledon draw in the Wychwood Inn at 8pm. We have 29 pairs of tickets to allocate.
