Play Your Way to Wimbledon

The first round of the Play your Way to Wimbleon was held on Sunday 21 April.  New for this year was an event for adult doubles pairings alongside the usual singles for both junior boys and girls .

Junior Competition

Eleven children played at the event including three girls. Great sportsmanship and tennis was on display from everyone. There were a lot of close matches, the eventual winner was Felix, runner was Matias. In the girl’s event Victoria won with Maya coming second. The girls also mixed in with the boys and played against them to make the most of the courts and sunshine!
