Rosie Waterman Shield 2024 Veterans Mixed Tournament

On Sunday the 28th of July 8 men and 8 ladies competed for the Rosie Waterman Shield: A fun and competitive tournament enjoyed by all on a bright summer’s day.

The competition comprised a round robin format over 16 rounds with cumulative scoring through the rounds with the highest scoring lady and man winning.

Each game lasted 10 minutes on the whistle with no lets on serve and sudden death juice. Whoever was winning the game when the whistle went claimed the game. So lots of strategy.

The shield was presented to winners Kate Kay and Simon Taylor by Rosie herself.

Looking forward to another exciting tournament next year.
