On Saturday 4 June, the club hosted the Play Your Way to Wimbledon tournament: an event for 11-14 year-olds with the winner going on to the next round of matches. If they keep winning the rounds, they have a chance to play at Wimbledon. 

We had nine participants who were drawn into two boxes. Each played the best of three championship tie breaks with the top two from each box going into the semi-finals.

Our semi-finalists were:

Monty W. beat Rory M. 

Miguel F. beat Ben C. 

The final was played in a good competitive spirit and Miguel won it in a closely fought battle. 

Miguel will go on to the County Stage of the competition, we wish him luck.
